Originally from Peru, Illinois, my passion for creativity began in the most humble of places, doing arts and crafts in my Busia’s basement. Busia, an American-Polish word for grandmother, along with my mom laid the foundation for my lifelong love of art and design. That foundation led me to pursue a BFA in Graphic Design at Columbia College Chicago, where I graduated with Cum Laude honors in 2010. After college, I began my career as a Visual Designer at a global IT consulting firm. Over the past 14 years, I've continually expanded my skill set as a UX Designer, currently holding the position of Principal UX Designer at a digital transformation consultancy.

I currently reside on the south side of Chicago in the Mount Greenwood neighborhood. Outside of working hours, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband and two children, listening to Lady Gaga, gardening, and catching up on my favorite TV shows.

MY DESIGN PHILOSOPHY

I believe the best UX is invisible: it guides users effortlessly and makes complex tasks feel simple. My work focuses on understanding real user needs, translating insights into intuitive solutions, and creating experiences that feel seamless, clear, and genuinely useful for the people who rely on them.

MY LEADERSHIP STYLE

I lead by creating space for teams to explore ideas, challenge assumptions, and make thoughtful decisions together. I prioritize collaboration across design, product, and engineering. My leadership style is based on fostering open communication, focusing on measurable outcomes, and delivering experiences that are both usable and impactful.
